Georgia Tech Admits 2,577 Early Action 1 Applicants to the Class of 2027

gatech logoGeorgia Tech announced that it admitted 2,577 Early Action 1 applicants to the Class of 2027.  Early Action 1 is for Georgia residents only.  

Early Action 1 applications totaled nearly 6,437, resulting in an admission rate of 40 percent.

University of Georgia Admits 8,253 Early Action Applicants to the Class of 2027

UGA logoThe University of Georgia offered 8,253 early action applicants to the Class of 2027.

A total of 26,001 applications were received, up 21 percent from the previous year, resulting in an admit rate of 32 percent.

Early Admission Plan Changes for the Class of 2027

college kickstart logoMost schools have completed their updates for the 2022-23 admission cycle (Class of 2027), and several of the changes we've observed are worth noting. 

Roughly 30 schools have modified early admission options available to applicants this fall.  Notable changes include the switch from early action to restrictive early action at Caltech and the addition of early action at USC, Clemson and Florida State.

Georgia Tech Admits 12 Percent of Early Action 2 Applicants to the Class of 2026

gatech logoGeorgia Tech announced that it admitted 12 percent of Early Action 2 applicants to the Class of 2026.  Early Action 2 is for non-Georgia residents only.  

Early Action 2 applications exceeded 25,000.

MIT Admits 697 Early Action Applicants to the Class of 2026

mit logoThe Massachusetts Institute of Technology announced today that it admitted a total of 697 early action applicants to the Class of 2026.  

A total of 14,781 applications were submitted this year, resulting in an overall admission rate of 4.7 percent.

Yale Admits 800 Early Action Applicants to Class of 2026

yaleYale announced today that it admitted 800 applicants to the Class of 2026 under Single Choice Early Action.

A total of 7,288 early action applications were received, resulting in an early admission rate of 10.9 percent.  31 percent of applicants were deferred, 57 percent were denied, and 1 percent were withdrawn or incomplete.

A total of 21,570 applications were received, up 3 percent from the previous year, resulting in an admit rate of 41 percent.

Roughly 25 schools have modified early admission options available to applicants this fall.  Notable changes include the resumption of Restrictive Early Action at Princeton, the introduction of Early Decision 2 at Carnegie Mellon, Emerson and Loyola Marymount, and the removal of Early Decision 2 at Syracuse University.

Yale Admits 837 Early Action Applicants to Class of 2025

yaleYale announced today that it admitted 837 applicants to the Class of 2025 under Single Choice Early Action.

A record 7,939 applications were received, up 38 percent year over year, resulting in an early admission rate of 10.5 percent.  50 percent of applicants were deferred, 38 percent were denied, and 1 percent were withdrawn or incomplete.
