A total of 6,178 applications were submitted this year, up 6 percent from 2018.

University of Virginia Admits 9,725 Applicants to the Class of 2023

uva logoThe University of Virginia announced today that it admitted 9,725 applicants to the Class of 2023.  

A total of 40,869 applications were received this year, resulting in an overall admission rate of 24 percent.

Emory College Admits 4,512 Applicants to the Class of 2023

A total of 30,017 applications were received for the year, up 9 percent from the previous year, resulting in an overall admission rate of 15 percent.

Oxford College at Emory Admits 3,432 Applicants to the Class of 2023

Approximately 17,500 applications to Emory were also to Oxford College, resulting in an overall admit rate of 19 percent.

Amherst College Admits 11 Percent of Applicants to the Class of 2023

1,144 students were admitted from a pool of 10,567 applicants.

A total of 13,584 applications were received this year, resulting in an overall admission rate of 9.5 percent.

Williams Admits 1,205 Students to the Class of 2023

A total of 9,715 applications were received, resulting in an overall admission rate of 12 percent.

The target size for the Class of 2023 is 550 students.

Swarthmore Admits 995 Applicants to the Class of 2023

Swarthmore College LogoSwarthmore announced today that it admitted 995 applicants to the Class of 2023.  

Over 11,400 applications were received this year, resulting in an overall admission rate of 9 percent.

Swarthmore anticipates an entering class size of 415 students.

Johns Hopkins Admits 2,309 Regular Decision Applicants to Class of 2023

Overall, 2,950 early and regular decision applicants were admitted from a total pool of 32,231, resulting in an overall admission rate of 9 percent.

A total of 21,312 applications were submitted this year, resulting in an overall admission rate of 7 percent.

Georgia Tech Admits 19 Percent of Applicants to the Class of 2023

In total, approximately 7,000 students were admitted from a total pool of over 36,936 early action and regular decision applicants.

This list includes results from Boston College, Boston University, Brown, Cornell, Dartmouth, Duke, Emory, Georgetown, Georgia Tech, Harvard, Johns Hopkins, MIT, Middlebury, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Princeton, Rice, University of Georgia, University of Pennsylvania, University of Virginia, Vanderbilt, Villanova, Washington University in St. Louis and Yale, along with partial data from Barnard, Bowdoin, Columbia, Grinnell, NYU, Trinity College, Tufts and the University of Miami.  While Stanford has released decisions, results will not be released.

University of Virginia Admits 6,550 Early Action Applicants to the Class of 2023

uva logoThe University of Virginia announced today that it admitted 6,550 early action applicants to the Class of 2023.  

A total of 25,126 early action applications were received, up 17 percent from the previous year, resulting in an overall early admission rate of 26 percent.  While the in-state admission rate was not reported, 19.3 percent of out-of-state applicants were admitted.
